How to reach Ciasa Sandra
The apartments of Ciasa Sandra lie in the centre of San Cassiano, in a quiet and panoramic location at the start of the traffic-calmed zone.
Our house, surrounded by lush and fragrant woods and gentle green meadows, will treat you with breathtaking views all around: the Dolomites of Lavarela and Conturines to the north, Lagazuoi and Setsas to the east, the Pralongià plateau with Piz Sorega and Piz La Ila to the east, the Gherdenacia with the Sas de Pütia looming behind to the east.
The Piz Sorega is 200 m away, easily within walking distance from the house. The lift is the ideal starting place for various hiking and walking tours in the summer and the best access point to the ski runs of the Dolomiti Superski and Alta Badia ski areas in the winter.
Enjoy relaxing strolls at sunset in the charming town of San Cassiano, thanks to the pedestrian zone starting right from our house. Various shops, restaurants and bars await you in a pleasantly quiet car-free environment.
Alta Badia is within easy reach from the rest of Italy, Austria, Germany and Switzerland. From the A22 Brenner motorway, take the exit Brixen – Pustertal, then follow the SS49 main road through the Pustertal valley until the fork for Val Badia in St. Lorenzen. Turn towards Val Badia. Follow the SS244 until La Villa. At the intersection head towards San Cassiano. When you arrive at the edge of the village centre, at the first roundabout, continue on the main road passing below the centre. At the second roundabout head inside the village and follow the instructions for Ciasa Sandra.
